The Model 4970 Single-Roll Chassis Dynamometer provides an excellent platform for motorcycle NVH testing. This unit provides the  capability to test the total range of motorcycle operation with full instrumentation for performance monitoring, along with NVH data.

 

All test operations are controlled by the ProLink software package that runs under Microsoft Windows®, and integrates dynamometer control, data acquisition, data analysis, and reporting in one easy to use package. ProLink provides inertia simulation capabilities so that no inertia discs are required.

 

For NVH measurements the Brüel and Kjær PULSE system provides excellent data acquisition and analysis capabilities that are controlled by the ProLink software. The end result is a powerful combination of test, data acquisition, and analysis capabilities that can be incorporated in a test program without the need for an NVH expert. ProLink also provides the ability to easily access all performance and NVH data from other Microsoft Windows compliant packages such as Excel and Matlab.
