The Model 2100 Conventional Cooling Air System provides controlled air flow over the brake to expedite thermal dissipation. The cooling system utilizes a variable speed AC drive and control is integrated within the ProLink dynamometer software.
The brake enclosure is maintained at a negative pressure to prevent brake dust from escaping into the test lab. The cooling air system is mounted on a platform and typically located on the building rooftop or outside on ground adjacent to dynamometer.
Ductwork from the cooling platform to the brake enclosure is included in the installation scope of work.
