The LINK Model 3378 Portable Brake Evaluation System provides the ability to measure on-vehicle, rotor inboard and outboard run-out, disc thickness variation (DTV), and rolling and break-away torque.
The unit comes with two capacitive probes and has a four probe option. The drive motor is adjustable vertically.
ProLink™ software provides straightforward operation of the system. It also handles data collection, post processing and automatic report generation.
For travel, the components of the Model 3378 can be disassembled and stored securely in the durable case. The motor head, wheel drive adapter, alignment laser, and motor head riser store easily inside the case, alongside the built-in signal conditioning rack and power supply. The case has wheels and a telescoping handle to make the unit easily transportable whether by vehicle or aircraft.
