Accounts Payable Coordinator

Primary Function

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, as a full charge accounts payable coordinator, you will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable and related functions for multiple entities. Duties include but not limited to month-end closing, general ledger entries, accounts payable account analysis and reconciliation.

Core Responsibilities and Requirements as an Accounts Payable Coordinator

  • Full cycle of accounts payable include processing invoices and print checks
  • Experienced in matching invoices against purchase orders
  • Familiar in handling A/P for multiple entities
  • Process employee expense reports and credit card charges
  • Month-end closing and reconciliation
  • General Entries
  • A/P account analysis
  • Provide support to other accounting staff
  • Special assignments
  • Follow company policies and procedures

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years experience
  • 4 year degree in accounting preferred
  • MS Word, Excel (advanced Excel skills), Outlook
  • Exceptional multitasking ability
  • Visual Manufacturing ERP preferred

Payroll Administrator

Link Engineering Company – Plymouth, Michigan

Primary Function

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the payroll administrator is responsible for the full cycle of tasks involved in processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for multiple facilities through year end processing. The payroll administrator ensures employees are paid on time and that their paychecks are accurate. The payroll administrator will also ensure the company complies with the payroll tax laws the government regulates.

Core Responsibilities and Requirements as a Payroll Administrator

  • Process Bi-weekly and Semi-monthly payroll
    • Daily/Weekly payroll data labor input balancing to timecards
    • Balance quarterly payroll taxes to payroll system
    • Data input related to payroll, i.e. pay adjustments, involuntary deductions, direct deposits
    • Process garnishments, levy’s, F.O.C.’s
  • Month-end closing and reconciliation and account analysis to payroll related accounts
  • Maintain time/attendance controller
  • New Hire package provider
  • Provide support to Human Resources Manager
  • Special assignments when requested
  • Follow company policies and procedures

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 3- 5+ years payroll experience
  • 2 year associates degree in accounting
  • MS Word, Excel (advanced Excel skills), Outlook
  • Exceptional multitasking ability & organizational skills
  • Paychex Software knowledge preferred
  • Visual Manufacturing ERP system knowledge preferred

Processor—Scheduler

  • Minimum 10 years as an Estimator or Scheduler, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years as both an Estimator and a Scheduler
  • Excellent Computer Skills, Microsoft Office (excel, word)
  • MRP Experience — Visual ERP Manufacturing preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Operations Manager

Educational and skills requirements

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in related field
  • Knowledge of all plant functions and processes; must have experience in fabrication, machining and assembly operations
  • Strong management skills, with over 5 years of management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (excel, word)
  • MRP experience — Visual ERP Manufacturing (a plus)

Primary function: Performing secondary machine operations. Reporting to Tool room Supervisor.

Candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Precision detail parts
  • Set ups
  • Use of precision measuring tools
  • Blueprint reading
  • Hold tight tolerances
  • Maintain equipment used and work safely and use all available safety equipment

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience and competency in the following areas:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-yrs minimum operating Bridgeport Mill
