The Application Research Center (ARC) is located in Canton, MI and specializes in NVH testing. The facility encompasses a partnership between Link and Bruel & Kjaer to offer customers a wide array of NVH tools. Included in the facility is a Sound Transmission Loss Suite capable of horizontal and vertical mounting of test parts, a fully anechoic room, a hemi-anechoic room with a structural bedplate, six vehicle preparation bays which include three vehicle lifts, one Link four-wheel chassis dynamometer, two corner brake NVH dynamometers and one corner brake performance dynamometer.
The facility has the capability to test automotive components ranging from brakes to full firewalls separately as well as testing full vehicle applications within the four-wheel chassis dynamometer.
In addition to automotive needs the facility also serves as a test center for household appliance applications and other NVH testing needs.
