Link Engineering has comprehensive in-house manufacturing capabilities covering:
- Fabrication
- Machining
- Paint & Finish
- Mechanical & Electrical Assembly
These wide range capabilities allow us to enforce tight quality controls from the beginning-to-end of a project, as well as maintain cost efficiencies throughout the manufacturing process in order to optimize customer satisfaction.
Fabrication
The manufacturing of many mechanical assemblies at Link begins in the Fabrication Department. We are equipped to handle raw material fabrication at an immense scale. Our capabilities in this area range from 20 gauge sheet metal items to heavy weldments with weight capacity of 20 tons. This capacity allows Link to provide all components required for all products.
Machining
We have an array of machining equipment that is operated by skilled technicians who are able to meet complex designs while maintaining the tightest of tolerances. This competence is critical in our ability to machine accurate and precise sub-assemblies within our test and production equipment. The department is supported by an array of lathes, drill presses, and CNC machines.
Paint & Finish
Link also houses our own paint chamber, sized to handle the largest of assemblies. This is yet another fundamental step in the manufacturing process that Link is able to support in-house, eliminating the need to outsource work and saving on overall time and cost to the customer.
Mechanical & Electrical Assembly
Link solders and assembles many of the circuit boards that are utilized within our system control consoles for signal conditioning and system operation. We assemble and install complete electrical control systems within our test equipment, including panel and full machine wiring.
Link assembles and tests equipment ranging in size from desk type test benches up to full scale test systems used in the automotive, truck, aerospace, and railway industries.
