The 3000 Series Portable Roller Brake Tester can check brakes on passenger vehicles, light trucks and motorcycles in as little as 2 minutes. The system tests Rolling Resistance, Brake Threshold Pressure, Service and Parking Brake Force, Runout and RTV.
The tester is placed on a garage floor or in
a parking lot as it does not require a special foundation
or pit. The rollers are only 6 inches high to allow easy drive on/off. Connecting to building power is all that is needed to begin testing.
The system can be set up to initiate the test procedure automatically when the vehicle wheels reach the rollers, or be manually triggered by the driver with an infra-red control from inside the vehicle. When not in use, ramps quickly fold
up so that the unit is less than 3 feet wide. With
optional casters and dolly, one person can easily
raise the unit and roll it out of the way. Four large
rubber feet are adjustable for uneven surfaces and
prevent tester movement.
