The Model 3501 Modular Vehicle Data Acquisition System provides a general purpose vehicle test system, which may be configured for many applications including laboratory testing. Product applications include brakes, transmissions, tires, vehicle NVH, ABS systems, and many other components for automobiles, on and off-highway trucks, and aircraft. Combining ProLink’s Microsoft Windows based Data Acquisition and Analysis Software with the latest in miniature electronics, the Model 3501 features high speeds, simple user interface, flexibility, and high channel counts.
Designed to be used in a wide variety of applications, The Model 3501 can be used for quick evaluations, long-term testing, NVH, and full performance testing. It can be configured to perform most vehicle tests, including all common brake tests.
The user can configure the system to match one’s particular needs. Modules are available for the measurement of pressure, strain, temperature, speed, distance, deceleration, vibration, noise, pedal travel, pedal force, and many more parameters. A unique module provides the capability to extract data from the vehicle bus. The Head-Up Display provides driver prompts and provides targets to be achieved. The user can begin with a minimal configuration of only two modules and add capabilities as required.
