The New Model 3802 Compact Data Acquisition System replaces the 3801 as a stand-alone data acquisition system that eliminates the need for a laptop in the vehicle with the integration of an imbedded computer. The 3802 is small and lightweight, yet offers features that meet the needs of the most demanding vehicle tests. An integral power module provides supplemental voltage during vehicle startup and supresses voltage spikes.

 

It is ideal when carrying out short tests on multiple vehicles. Its size also makes it ideal for use in fleet vehicles. The results can then be uploaded and analyzed at the end of the day or test. Data may be uploaded to a computer using a CompactFlash card or the Ethernet LAN. The 6 channel NVH option offers the capability to collect FFT, waterfall and time-based data and can store wave and mp3 files.  The CAN Bus option allows the system to collect up to 45 channels of data with a user-supplied DBC file.

 

When immediate feedback is required, a laptop can be connected to the Model 3802 and data reviewed in real-time. Additional temperature and analog channels are available when more inputs are required.
