Rotary Fatigue Machine
Model 1750

System Features
  • Guarding for rotating members
  • Failure detection system with enunciator

The following parameters are monitored during testing:

  • Normal Load
  • Load Variation
  • Speed
  • Revolutions
  • Torque
  • Travel
  • Travel Variation

The Link Model 1750 Rotary Fatigue Machine is designed to reproduce the forces acting on wheel and brake components as seen in vehicles by controlling the magnitude of the cornering forces consistently to determine the integrity of the test components. This machine is capable of testing rotors, wheels, bearing packs, axle extenders, etc. by mounting the test components vertically to a rotating table and applying a varying load at a fixed angle from below the test sample.

The control system maintains a constant force on the load arm while spinning the rotary table at the desired test speed. The test is complete when either the test part fails or the required number of rotations is reached. The load apply system utilizes a hydraulic supply located near the base of the rotary fatigue machine. The fast response servo valve provides controlled load apply during the test.
