Model 1750 Rotary Fatigue Machine

Overview

The Model 1750 Rotary Fatigue Machine is designed to reproduce the forces acting on wheel and brake components. The test is conducted by controlling the magnitude of the cornering forces to determine the integrity of the test components. Test components are vertically mounted on a rotating table, and varying loads are applied at a fixed angle from below the test sample. This machine is capable of evaluating rotors, wheels, bearing packs, axle extenders, etc.

While testing, the control system maintains a constant force on the load arm while spinning the rotary table at the desired test speed. The test is complete when the test part fails, or the required number of rotations has reached completion.
