As part of Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, Terry Woychowski, a LINK executive, will participate in the Covenant House of Michigan’s Executive Sleep Out. This sleep out will be held on the streets of Detroit, MI on November 17, 2016.
Covenant House helps homeless youth by providing food, shelter, immediate crisis care, and essential services in 30 cities throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America. The Executive Sleep Out provides an opportunity for business leaders to come together and make an immediate and lasting impact on the homeless young people living in these Covenant Houses.
Participants of the Sleep Out will stay outside for one night, exposed to the harsh conditions that these children experience every day. While the minimum fundraising goal is $5,000, many participants and teams raise well over the target amount.
