September was a busy month at LINK. We had ribbon cutting ceremonies, dynamometer installations, and exhibited at multiple tradeshows. Whether it is in the United States, Europe, Asia, or South America, we are striving to expand our industry involvement and customer support around the world. Here’s a peek at what Link’s been doing across the globe.
Unveiling Dynos in Our Laboratories Around the World
On September 19th, we had a commissioning celebration in Dearborn, Michigan to unveil our newest high speed M-3900 Dyno, the latest in LINK technology.
Terry Woychowski, Vice President of North American Test Operations, gave a speech to introduce the dyno and its capabilities. This machine sets the standard for drag. It comes equipped with full environmental controls from -40°C to 60°C and has full NVH testing capabilities. Roy Link, CEO and Chairman of LINK, proudly cut the ribbon to signify the addition and expansion of our laboratory in Dearborn. Our goal is to provide advanced technology to help our customers achieve best in class performance – the M-3900 Dyno does just that.
Our facility in Europe has also recently expanded their capabilities with the completed installation of two new M-3900 Dynos, one of which is capable of 3000 rpm. Both dynos are equipped with -40°C ECU capacity.
China Tradeshows and Product Installations
LINK’s participation in the China Automotive Testing Expo is a yearly tradition. This year, we showcased our servo hydraulic actuators and our V-Max 4000 Data Acquisition System. China has been expanding their servo hydraulic capabilities to include new systems in local facilities. They’ve also been investing in broadening their data acquisition system offering. The Testing Expo is our opportunity to showcase LINK’s newest technology, share ideas, and demonstrate our products. Our China team was very excited to demonstrate the new opportunities that LINK is pursuing.
Tradeshow Events
In late September, LINK exhibited at three tradeshows: The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Conference in Arkansas, the SAE Brake Colloquium in Arizona, and the Automotive Testing Expo in China. All shows were a great success and as usual, we loved seeing our customers and partners!
October is another busy month of tradeshows for LINK. Early in the month, we were at the CWIEME show and the Spring World show in Chicago, Illinois. We showcased our spring testers and lacing machines. Today, we are at the Transmission and Driveline Symposium in Ypsilanti, Michigan and then on to the Automotive Testing Expo in Novi, Michigan next week. Tradeshow season is always hectic, but we are proud of our teams around the globe and look forward to connecting with all of our partners and customers!
Be sure to visit us at one of the upcoming shows!
