Link Engineering’s Dearborn Technical Center, located in Dearborn, Michigan, consolidates both vehicle and laboratory testing activities on a single campus. The 130,000 square foot facility is located on a 13 acre parcel providing the opportunity to expand the campus as we continue to add new capabilities and staff.
Established in early 2011, the Test Center will feature sophisticated test equipment including NVH, performance and commercial truck brake dynamometers, wheel & hub durability, fatigue, and impact stands, as well as servo-controlled cyclical bench equipment. The facility also features an expanded vehicle test garage with 18 hoists to support vehicle testing applications ranging from passenger car through military and commercial vehicle applications.
The Technical Center is an expansion to Link’s worldwide testing capabilities and will complement the company’s existing Testing Laboratories located in Detroit, Michigan. It will act as a global hub to Link’s wheel and bearing testing capabilities, with services ranging from component durability and performance, to full vehicle verification.
The Dearborn Technical Center is a major part of Link Engineering Company’s continued growth and evolution to optimally serve its customers with test solutions throughout the transportation industry.
