On October 24th – 26th LINK exhibited at the North American Automotive Testing Expo. The Expo was held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI, and drew well over 5,000 attendees. LINK and our recent acquisition, TESCOR, were among the 315 exhibiting companies who are pursuing new ways to improve vehicle reliability, durability, safety, and quality. Exhibiting at the global Automotive Testing Expo is a yearly tradition at LINK, and we look forward to them every year.
This year we had the opportunity to showcase an interactive demonstration that featured a servo dynamic 4-post shaker. The demo placed a 1/5 scale remote control car, outfitted with accelerometers that measure acceleration at specific parts on the vehicle. The small scale 4-post shaker is an exact replication of a larger 4-post test system. The systems are designed to provide an environmentally controlled input to a unit under test, and simulates the impact of a road in an accelerated manner. These systems are used in most assembly plants for end line testing, suspension setting S&R, as well as research and development.
We thank everyone who stopped by our booth and TESCOR’s booth this year to learn more about our capabilities. For more information about LINK or the products featured at the show, please contact us at +1-734-453-0800.
