We have the great pleasure to announce the hiring of Terry Woychowski as the Vice President of NA Test Operations for LINK. Terry began his role on January 18, and is based in Dearborn, MI, overseeing all laboratory and vehicle test operations, across North America.
Terry has vast experience in the automotive industry with particular focus on engineering and test technology. He most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Advanced Engineering and Quality for American Axle and Manufacturing (AAM) where he was instrumental in the creation of the AAM Advanced Technology Development Center. Prior to joining AAM, Terry spent more than 33 years with General Motors Company (GM), where he held numerous senior management positions including Vice President, Global Quality & Vehicle Launches and Vice President, Global Vehicle Program Management. Terry is also the founder and CEO of the Woychowski Charitable Company.
Terry serves on the Board of Control of Michigan Technological University. Terry also has extensive Board experience which includes roles at Shanghai GM, Pan Asia Technical Automotive Company (PATAC) and Vice Chairman at General Motors China, Inc., as well as currently serving as a Board of Director for the Engineering Society of Detroit and several non-profit Boards. In addition, Terry has a great passion for mentoring and developing leaders, and he has a long list of successful mentees to his credit.
Terry already has a deep interest in LINK’s success, as 3 years ago he invested a period of months working with LINK’s Sr. Leadership team, providing valuable guidance, and working with us to set individual and company objectives; as well as hosting leadership talks with the team at our past two global meetings. We are confident that Terry will build on the excellent foundation that our team has put in place in our NA Test Operations. He will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in full vehicle test technology which will allow us to move to new levels. Terry will drive us to continuously improve on areas of overall customer experience and operational efficiencies, while also leading us to greater diversification.
