PLYMOUTH, MICHIGAN – Link Engineering Company (LINK) will attend and present this week at the 14th International SAE Brazil Brake Colloquium taking place on May 8-9, in Farroupilha, Brazil. LINK is actively expanding its presence in the Central and South American markets and is eager to connect with industry influencers at the event.
With an eye on innovation, this year’s colloquium agenda features a wide range of technical discussions and two panels addressing new technologies and their impact on brake systems and movement control. The conference will focus on electrification and autonomous driving, and the effects of the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) requirement in Brazil. More than 25 international exhibitors will travel to showcase what they are doing to innovate and strengthen the brake and friction materials space.
LINK will exhibit at stand #18, with several key managers in attendance, including Eduardo Ferro (Executive Director, Brazil), Cristina Casimiro (Managing Director, Latin America), Pedro Oliveira (Engineering & Quality Manager, Brazil) and Lorenzo Bartell (Account Manager, Americas & Europe).
On May 9 at 8:30 am, Oliveira will present “Independent After-Market and the Three Dimensions of Friction Material Evaluation,” followed by a Q&A session.
Tim Duncan, Executive Vice President, Business Development & Global Test Operations, said, “While LINK has supported the colloquium since its launch, we are particularly excited to attend the 2019 event because of the focused effort we are making to support growth and innovation in this region, as well as the growth of our team in Central and South America.”
LINK’s two business unit leaders in Latin America, Eduardo Ferro and Cristina Casimiro, will work closely with LINK’s growing customer base in this region. Specifically, Casimiro, based in Mexico, will direct and support the Spanish speaking markets across Latin America. Ferro will continue to lead and manage the Brazilian market.
If you plan to be at the colloquium, our team would love to connect with you. Stop by booth #18 to say hello!
