Christian Wecker Named Managing Director of Link Europe GmbH Facility in Germany

Mar 2, 2020

Link Engineering Company is pleased to announce that as of March 2020, Christian Wecker is serving as Managing Director of LINK Europe GmbH at our Limburg, Germany location. Christian will support our local team in strengthening its core business, while also leading us to break ground in new business and testing areas.

“With his experience and background, Christian is bringing the right skill set for leading the team and giving them the right guidance for growing LINK’s European business in brake and overall chassis testing technologies. I’m very happy that we could get Christian on board as my successor,” says Michael Schorn, Managing Director of LINK Europe.

Christian has 12 years of international experience at Bosch Group, ranging from engineering to product management and from production to strategy development. While Christian has specialized in the brake industry, he also has a breadth of knowledge in IT security solutions, which will be essential to future developments across the automotive industry and beyond.

Christian is a results-oriented leader, known for taking on complex challenges and establishing robust strategies for technology development, as well as customer acquisition. His nearly four years of cultivating and leading a team in China after a Bosch business merger gives him a unique background to support our global growth.

“I am thrilled to have Christian as part of the LINK leadership team. He will join a strong team in Limburg, at a time when we are positioned for significant growth. Christian will direct us into further diversification while leading with compassion and a deep desire to ensure our customers are satisfied and well served,” added Matthew Link, Link Group President, Plymouth, Michigan.
