Link Engineering Company is spearheading testing efforts on Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) at its Arizona facility.

Link Engineering Company (LINK) is currently spearheading testing efforts on Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) at our Arizona facility. As the demand for assisted driving capabilities increases, we are rapidly developing testing methods and procedures for these systems.

ADAS are electronic systems meant to aid drivers during the operation of a vehicle. These systems are designed to minimize human error, alert operators of threats, and improve overall safety.

With an increasing number of modern vehicles with ADAS and new government mandates regarding this technology, automotive companies must test the accuracy, functionality, and longevity of these systems. Automotive aftermarket suppliers also need to pursue the necessary testing to ensure their products do not interfere with the overall system’s functionality and safety.

LINK is actively developing testing procedures for a variety of these systems. The tests include forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane-keeping system, crash imminent braking/automatic emergency braking, dynamic brake support, blind-spot detection, rear active-braking, and ADAS product reliability monitoring.

We are developing these testing procedures while also enhancing the data acquisition capabilities of our V-Max 4000 – specifically for ADAS testing. Our goal is to deliver precise data and insight to our customers to support the future growth and compatibility of ADAS incorporation.

Recently, members of our team supported a SEMA ADAS Symposium in Dallas, Texas. At the event, we shared our learnings and challenges regarding ADAS technologies and testing, and discussed the future of assisted driving.

LINK is committed to leading the efforts for ADAS testing to ensure our customers have a premier resource for verifying their product integration with advanced safety performance technologies.
