Link Engineering Company Announces the Acquisition of Xytek Industries Inc.

PLYMOUTH, MI (January 17, 2023) – Link Engineering Company (LINK), a global leader in customized testing solutions, is pleased to announce it has acquired the key assets and staff from Xytek Industries Inc. (Xytek), a Detroit, MI, company specializing in environmental and vibration testing of electrical and mechanical automotive components.

Over the past few weeks, the equipment and staff have transitioned to LINK’s Detroit and Dearborn, Michigan (USA), facilities. The equipment acquired from Xytek allows LINK to offer more environmental testing (temperature cycling, thermal shock, and humidity/corrosion) and vibration/shock testing for our customers. This testing expertise expands LINK’s ability to perform reliability and engineering development for many industries, including automotive, aerospace, renewable energy, battery, consumer electronics, and telecommunications equipment.

The Environmental and Vibration/Shock equipment LINK can now provide to our customers range from smaller temperature cycling/humidity chambers and several 4K and 6K force-pound electrodynamic shakers for smaller component testing, to large reach-in environmental chambers (up to 120 cu. ft) and shakers up to 18K force-pounds for large components and systems. LINK is a one-stop shop for automotive component testing.
