LINK recently completed another major 4-roll chassis dynamometer commissioning. This latest dyno, installed in Europe, is able to evaluate a wide range of vehicles at up to 250kph. The system can be configured with one, two, or four rolls, with each axle or roll driven by a motor. The size of the rolls, their surface treatment, the allowable load range and other parameters are able be customized to meet specific customer requirements. The 4-roll chassis dyno includes our ProLINK software, which integrates all control, measurement, analysis, and reporting functions. It can also be configured with a noise and vibration evaluation package, a hemi-anechoic test chamber for low background noise levels, and an environmental conditioning unit for temperature and humidity.
The installation of this dynamometer was a collaboration of LINK personnel across several European countries to maximize the overall value and efficiencies of the process.
