As part of LINK’s growing involvement in testing and simulation activities in the Sao Paulo area of Brazil, LINK participated in the SAE Symposium and Exhibition for Testing and Simulation, August 15th and 16th. Participation in this show represents LINK’s commitment to our customers in the region and the future growth of the area. The energy of the industry is remarkable as it rebounds from the 2015 & 2016 political-economic difficulties. Brazil is vibrantly charged with the boundless efforts and strategic visions that inspire even greater opportunities throughout the region.
To better understand the needs of the region, LINK SA and NA focused on collecting current information on the growing trends in testing and simulation for South America. The symposium served well for uncovering the details of new testing methods in emerging and maturing markets as well as a platform for meeting with several regional partners and customers who normally would be spread all across Brazil.
At the exhibition, LINK showcased their growing laboratory capabilities in Sorocaba, as well as the strengthening partnerships in the region that will provide seamless testing services and after sales equipment support. Among the attendees of the event where several international OEM’s and countless tier suppliers, as well as several of LINK’s partners such as Bruel&Kjaer, Polytec, TRY, Sonitus, and Cepagli.
LINK SA’s Executive Director, Eduardo Ferro, commented: “The SAE symposium serves as a powerful tool for learning about the everchanging direction of the industry, while also bringing together a group of talent that would normally act independently.” It was evident during the interactions between LINK and the attendees, that testing services and equipment needs in SA continue to grow in interest.
LINK looks to grow our partnerships through the technical dialog and the exchange of inspirational concepts. The show solidified the movement of testing, simulation, and the opportunities in Brazil and SA.
