New 6-Square Test System

Link Engineering delivers the next generation of equipment for testing commercial vehicle axles that surpasses traditional T-Rig type machines. A closed-loop torque circuit (up to 25,000 ft-lbs) is maintained through the test axle, replica axle, and turn-around gearboxes thereby eliminating the need for absorbing motors and an oversized input motor. Variable or uniform torque is generated and controlled by a continuously rotating servo motor located within the input gearbox allowing for simulation of field test conditions. The result is a cost effective machine with a small footprint and minimal operating expense.
