Link Engineering has developed a NEW control system for its Stator Lacing Machines. This new system, based on the Allen Bradley Micro 800 series PLC, has many advantages over previous Lacer control systems.
The rugged new A-B PLC lacer control system uses compact DIN rail mounted modules to save space in the electrical cabinet and facilitate easy replacement. The PLC connects via Ethernet or USB to a computer for easy editing, loading and saving of multiple programs. It also has an SD card slot.
The high resolution color touchscreen operator interface provides easy and intuitive navigation between screens, simple machine configuration, multi-level security, diagnostics, production statistics, setup aids and maintenance logs. The user can select from several language choices for the operator display.
This new Lacer control system allows the user to easily create and edit programs, with customized stitch patterns for multiple stators. This powerful and flexible new Allen Bradley PLC control system is available as a standard feature on the Link model 942, 955 and 975 Lacers.
Link Engineering’s new Allen Bradley PLC Lacer controls are a significant step forward in technology, functionality and value.
