vImpact Product Overview

A precise and reproducible excitation of the test structure is indispensable for many test scenarios. To solve this, development of the vImpact automatic modal hammer product family was developed. 

Maul-Theet’s vImpact ensures bounce-free excitation and reliable measurement of the excitation forces. Setting up the hammer position is quick and easy thanks to the hammer’s updated actuator principle and simple operation. The several models differ in the frequency range and maximum excitation force, and are therefore ideal for different areas of application.

The new vImpact-63 and vImpact-2003 have a set-up mode in which the hammers move to the impact position. In this position, correct alignment of the automatic modal hammers is very easy.
