Link Engineering Company is proud to announce it has acquired the Krauss product line and brand. Going forward, LINK will be providing the Krauss product line of test equipment for friction material performance, quality control, and wear measurement.

The acquisition is in line with LINK’s plans to increase its range of global support for its customer base within the friction material and braking system industry. Over its long history of over 50 years, the Krauss product line and brand has grown to be synonymous with quality control and material characterization test equipment. The Krauss friction material drag test stand has cemented itself as an industry standard in Europe, Asia and the Americas. These standards have come to be commonly referred to as simply the “Krauss test”.

Peter Krauss will be joining the LINK team to combine his deep knowledge and application experience along with LINK’s global team of experts to support our customers worldwide.

“We are very excited to have Peter and the Krauss family join the LINK team. Their family business has many similarities with our own, and complements our existing product line with their expertise in quality control,” stated Matthew Link, President of LINK. Peter Krauss added, “we are glad to announce this excellent development between our companies, and look forward to continuing the rich heritage of the Krauss brand together.”
