Exciter 3D – Three Degrees of Freedom Vibration Test System

Overview

The LINK Three Degrees of Freedom Vibration Test System is designed for the seismic qualification of mechanical or electrical components and assemblies. It can be customized to meet each user’s specific testing needs and requirements.

Key Benefits

  • Centrally located distribution manifold provides cleaner installation, equalizes actuator performance, and provides easier troubleshooting
  • Unique stinger design provides isolation against unwanted pitch, roll, and yaw motions
  • Close coupled accumulators reduce crosstalk, providing higher motion accuracy
  • True current driver electronics provide higher valve response and transmitted power
  • Tests (based on test type) may be run independently or simultaneously in all three of the principal machine axes

Specifications:

  • HPU Power 460 VAC, 3 Phase, Amps based on size
  • Cooling water, typically 1/2 of the HPU flow rate
  • Computer Power 120/240 VAC, 50-60 Hz, 15 Amp
  • Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) recommended in case of mid-test power outage or accidental loss of power
  • Nitrogen tank with charging equipment for accumulators
  • Forklift or overhead crane for installation
  • Reinforced concrete reaction mass (weight and size to be determined based on application)

Test Procedures

  • IEEE-344
  • OSHPD AC-156
  • NEBS GR-63
  • IEEE-323
  • ASME QMENEBS GR-63
  • CUSTOM
